Delta Air Lines inaugurated A-319 mainline jet service at Bloomington-Normal’s Central Illinois Regional Airport on Saturday evening/Sunday morning, but one local television news outlet apparently got the memo a day late. I saw this on WMBD’s local news this morning. Talk about confusion.
The plane, with 126 passenger seats, has the ability to now hold an additional 50 people.
No…the plane with 126 passenger seats (an A-319) has replaced a plane with 76 seats (a CRJ900).
Figuring this out isn’t rocket science. At least it shouldn’t be.
