Atlanta Nonstops To End September 1!

PEORIA – Atlantic Southeast Airlines dba Delta Connection will drop its nonstop service between Peoria and Atlanta on September 1. A Freight Train

  I took a half-day off from work on Friday, June 19, and happened upon this train shortly after it left Peoria. Tazewell & Peoria RR Gets New Customer

PEORIA- Butternut bread is now made with wheat flour that arrives by railcar. On Saturday morning, May 30, I happened to see Toledo Peoria & Western’s eastbound “Galesburg Job.” On the rear of the train were four “Pressure-aide” (use of pneumatic air flow to keep granular product from clumping, and also for easier unloading) covered hoppers.
