I haven’t had time to post anything since December 23, but I’m planning a post on the current railroad scene, probably this weekend.
Thanks for checking.

The good news, David, is that you’ll still have about 47 hours, 59 minutes, and 46 seconds left out of your weekend after writing that posting.

Well then, Prego Man, after such intense labor on my part, promise me you’ll read every word and browse every photo…okay?

Long as you don’t lay on all that crap about the Kellar Branch, and how wonderful it is, and how much damned rail traffic will be going up and down, back and forth, blah, blah, blah, toot toot, choo choo stuff, I’ll be more than happy to read up on every word.
Just try to limit it to areas where train traffic is REALLY happening.
Thank ya kindly.

Prego Man,
I’ve always used facts in my posts.
Would you move your business to the line, or invest in rail facilities under the threat of line closure and/or economical access to markets? The Kellar Branch has been a closure target for some 15+ years now, and only recently won Federal protection through restoration of Pioneer Industrial Railway’s operating authority.
You know as well as I that if the City of Peoria would cooperate on true economic development using the Kellar Branch and its ability to link the City’s Growth Cell Two (and Pioneer Park, where there are vacant buildings with rail access) with multiple rail carriers via the Tazewell & Peoria RR, trains would ply this line with regularity.

David, you’re gonna keep beating this dead horse clear to the moon, aren’t you? The Kellar Branch is a waste. Divvy it up between the people who have their back yards up against the danged thing, and get it over with. I don’t care what spin you wanna put on it, it will never be what it was, EVER. It won’t bring business in. EVER. You’ll pumping the same stuff in your blog in 2045, still yammering for how the Kellar Branch is a jewel not yet polished, and all of the railroad ties will have already disappeared from erosion and carpenter ants.
Let’s put this puppy to rest, okay?

Prego Man,
I will continue to argue my case until everyone agrees with me or I die, whichever comes first.
