The first annual Peoria Railfair concluded Sunday, September 21. The show opened at 10:00. Not unexpectedly, crowds were sparse until about 1:00 in the afternoon. Reportedly, about 150 patrons stopped by to see the locomotives on display. Dave Stroemer brought his speeder back for display in the afternoon, and again the vehicle proved as popular an attraction as the locomotives!
The show concluded without a hitch. Positive public interest may make this an annual event.
